JENNY LEE HUMPHREYFebruary 8, 1938 – March 26, 2025It is with great sadness that we announce the passing of Jenny Lee Humphrey (nee Mitchell) of West Liberty. Jenny died on Wednesday, March 26, 2025, at Otterbein Green Hills in West Liberty after a lengthy illness. She was 87.Jenny was born on February 8, 1938, in Nelsonville, Ohio to the late Paul and Ruth (Brooks) Mitchell. Jenny retired from West Liberty-Salem schools after 20 years of service where she worked in the school cafeteria as Food Service Supervisor. After retiring from school, Jenny worked in the West Liberty Ice Cream Parlor and Hardware store. Jenny enjoyed gardening, cooking, sewing, traveling with her family, and watching PBS. She loved any kind of animal and enjoyed bird watching. She was an avid Nascar fan, and her favorite driver was Dale Earnhardt. She especially enjoyed spending time with her family at homes that she and her husband owned at Indian Lake.Jenny graduated from Urbana Local school in 1955. She marr
