URBANA – Barbara Anderson Pitzer Floyd, 83 of Urbana, Ohio, went HOME to be with her Lord on Tuesday, March 18, 2025 at Mercy Health – Springfield Regional Medical Center, surrounded by family and friends. She was born on Oct. 15, 1941 in Brawley, California, to the late Dorr and Ruth (Inwood) Anderson. Barbara graduated from New Concord High School in 1959 and worked at Credit Life Insurance for 10 years and in various cashier and daycare positions, retiring from Harding Road Pharmacy in 2006. She greatly treasured time with her family and enjoyed puzzles, reading, and caring for the deer at her home. She cherished her great-grandchildren, Brooklyn and Jonathan, and her fondness of giraffes, kites, bubbles, and snowmen, along with her amazing imagination, made her a well-loved companion of children from church and other parts of her life.
