ST. PARIS – Denise E. Bowers, 64 of St. Paris, passed away on March 18, 2025 in Oakwood Village, Springfield. Denise was born on July 15, 1960 in Springfield, Ohio, to Karl and Marcia "Jeanne" (Hullinger) Baker. Denise was a graduate of Graham High school, class of 1978. She worked for 19 years as accounts receivable specialist at Meva Formwork Systems, Springfield. Denise cherished and adored her grandchildren; she never missed a chance to cheer them on at their wrestling meets. She was a former 4-H advisor in Champaign County and enjoyed bowling. She was known for her talent as a skilled cake decorator. In addition to her parents, Denise is survived by her children: Jeff (Jeri) Bowers, St. Paris, Pam (Bryce Weaver) Bowers, Fort Wayne, Ind., Steven (Abby) Bowers, Fletcher, grandchildren: Michael, Joseph, Grace, Lexi, Garrett, Lilly, & Gus Bowers, sister and brother-in-law: Gloria (Richard) Bodey, St. Paris, brother and sister-in-law: Brian (Loretta) Baker, Springfield, nieces
