URBANA – Timothy R. Dovell, 69 of Urbana, passed away at home on Oct. 19, 2024. He was born on April 7, 1955 to the late Don Joseph Dovell and Delores Smith. Renewed Strength Church gave him great comfort through the years and Tim is now pain-free in the presence of his Lord. He was strong, and although he beat esophageal cancer he was plagued with other health issues because of the cancer treatments. He always said he had nine lives and Tim finally concluded God spared him for 10 years to share his story of faith and survival which brought hope to others who were suffering. Tim, a master plumber, started in the plumbing trade in Florida while in high school. His entrepreneurial spirit allowed him to help many with their plumbing and home improvement projects. He spent 50 years earning new customers who became old friends. He had a vast knowledge of many trades and had a passion for building fine furniture.
