URBANA – Edith E. Gregg, 83 of Urbana, Ohio, passed away on Thursday, Jan. 9, 2025 in Vancrest of Urbana. Edith was born on March 22, 1941 in Mechanicsburg, Ohio, to the late Amos and Jennie (Kinsler) Gregg. Edith was a beloved member of the Urbana Friends Church. She dedicated over 30 years of her life to Grimes, retiring after a long and fulfilling career. Edith is survived by 11 nieces and nephews and her dear friend, George Thrasher. Edith is preceded in death by her parents and her siblings, Howard (Dorotha) Gregg, Dorothy (Bud) Wilson, Ernest (Mildred) Gregg, Fredrick (Wathalyn) Gregg, Edward (Martha) Gregg, Glenn (JoAnne) Gregg, Earl (Oma) Gregg, and Carol (Preston) Havens. Graveside service will be held at 1 p.m. on Friday, Jan. 17, 2025 at Oak Dale Cemetery with Pastor Jacob Hayward officiating. Arrangements are entrusted to VERNON FUNERAL HOME, Urbana, Ohio.
