URBANA – Melinda Clements, 67 years old of Urbana, Ohio, passed away on Wednesday, June 26, 2024 in her home. She was born on June 15, 1957 in Ohio. Melinda spent part of her childhood growing up in Arizona and returned to Ohio before graduating high school. She knew as a young child that she wanted to be a Mother and a Nurse. She loved to help and care for anyone and everyone, however she could. Melinda graduated from Clark State College's nursing program. She started her career at Community Hospital in Springfield, then OSU Medical Center in Columbus, as well as Mary Rutan Hospital in Bellefontaine. Melinda came back to Springfield at the Regional Medical Center. Melinda had two children, Jacob and Matthew, who were her world. They called themselves the three musketeers.
