URBANA – Donald Patrick Walsh, 83 of Urbana, passed away on Sunday, June 23, 2024 in Mercy Health - Urbana Hospital. He was born on Feb. 13, 1941 in Springfield, Ohio, to the late Arthur Walsh and Helen. He was a graduate of Catholic Central High School, where he still holds a record for longest punt return that he now shares. He retired after 37 years of service from Navistar and was a UAW member. For many years he was an antique dealer and had an antique shop briefly in downtown Urbana. He also loved watching his sports, especially football and basketball. He was a man that everyone could talk to about anything. Donald was loved by those who knew him. He is survived by his daughter, Ann Marie (David) Foulkes; grandchild, Jonathon Quinn Foulkes; 28 nieces and nephews; as well as his ex-wife, Kathleen Geer Walsh.
